Zurn 1/2" Pex Tubing to Manifold Connectors,(Pair) - Part #QHMMC3

Used to connect Zurn 1/2" Pex Tubing to Zurns QickZone Manifold or Zurns Preassembled Manifold (#QHPM). To connect the tubing to the manifold you first make sure that the tubing is cut to length with a straight cut free of burrs. Slide the nut over the tubing with the threads facing the manifold, then slide the split ring over the tubing. Insert the barbed fitting into the tubing. Insert the O-Ring end of the barbed fitting into the Manifolds port, slide the nut and split ring up the tubing and thread the nut onto the Manifolds port. Use a wrench to tighten the nut until snug.

Installing Zurn Zone Valve Actuators on all of the circuits of the return header allows the user to group one or any combination of loops together into zones. To install the actuator you must first remove one of the white plastic caps on the return header. To remove the white plastic cap turn it counterclockwise until completely open, then use a flat ended screw driver to pry the cap up and off. Place the plastic fitting that comes with the actuator onto the return circuit that the plastic cap came off of by lining up the notch in the plastic fitting with the tab on the return circuit. Place the actuator on the plastic fitting and turn it one click. (Be sure to position the actuator so it will be straight after turning.) Next push in the red button located on the side of the actuator. This button must be pushed in for proper operation. (If the red button gets pushed in before the actuator is mounted don't try to pull it back out. The actuator will still be mounted properly.) ...

This control panel really simplifies the wiring between thermostats (such as QHSTHO), zone valves (such as QHBMZV5) or actuators (such as QHMBMVDS), system pump, indirect water heater and boiler. The QHMZ4A, QHMZ6A, QHMZ4P and QHMZ6P panels can be combined in any combination, up to 20 zones, by field wiring between the panels Expansion Connections. The QHMVPOR (Outdoor Reset and Injection Mixing Module) can be plugged into this control panel to give an Injection Pump the ability to change the fluid temperature that's delivered to the zones when the outdoor temperature changes.
